An anti-aging IV drip is an infusion of antioxidants and vitamins, given into a vein by a registered nurse, that people choose as part of a healthy-ageing and skincare routine. At mobivIVe, our anti-aging IV drip in South Africa is The Anti-Clockwise (Anti-Aging IV Therapy) at R1,850, and it takes about 45 minutes. For a longer plan, the Reverse Aging Programme costs R9,320 and combines 5 x NAD+ 250mg drips with 2 x Anti-Clockwise drips. Visit our lounges in Sunninghill, Stellenbosch and Queenstown, or book a mobile beauty IV drip at home in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
What is in it. The Anti-Clockwise combines alpha lipoic acid, high-dose glutathione, vitamin C, L-carnitine, vitamin B12, biotin, folic acid, a B complex and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC). Glutathione is a small molecule your body makes from three amino acids, and a review in Biological Chemistry describes its central role in keeping the redox balance of cells. Vitamin C is a cofactor for the enzymes that build collagen, and a review on skin health notes that skin cells depend on it to make collagen. NAD+, used in the programme, is a coenzyme in energy metabolism, and a Nature Reviews paper reports that NAD+ levels decline gradually with age.
Who chooses it. The Anti-Clockwise is popular with people who look after their skin and energy as they get older, with clients preparing for a wedding, milestone birthday or photo shoot, and with those who pair it with a good skincare, sun protection and sleep routine. Be realistic about the evidence: most research on glutathione, vitamin C and NAD+ looks at how they work inside the body, not at IV drips changing how you age, and Cleveland Clinic notes limited evidence for IV vitamins in healthy people. No drip can stop the clock, and we will never promise that it does.
How to book, in 3 simple steps
Book online. Choose your drip, a walk-in lounge (Sunninghill, Stellenbosch or Queenstown) or a mobile drip at your home, office or hotel, and a time at book.mobivive.co.za.
Medical screening. You complete a short medical questionnaire before your drip, so anything that needs extra care is picked up first.
Relax while a registered nurse gives your drip. Most drips take about 45 minutes; NAD+ is given slowly over 90 to 120 minutes.
Is the Anti-Clockwise right for me? You first complete a medical screening questionnaire, and a registered nurse reviews it under the protocols of our medical director, Dr Chris van Zyl. Please tell us first if you have a heart, kidney or liver condition, are pregnant or use chronic medication. The nurse inserts a small cannula and The Anti-Clockwise runs for about 45 minutes. In the programme, each NAD+ 250mg drip is given slowly in a 200ml saline bag over about 90 minutes, so plan a little more time for those visits.
Bag: 200ml or 1000ml saline, your choice at no extra cost

Popular for
People building a long-term wellness routine
Clients who like glutathione and alpha lipoic acid
An anti-aging IV drip is an infusion of antioxidants such as glutathione, vitamin C and alpha lipoic acid, plus B vitamins, given into a vein by a registered nurse. People choose it as part of a skincare and healthy-ageing routine. It does not reverse ageing, and it works alongside sun protection, sleep and good nutrition, not instead of them.
The Anti-Clockwise contains alpha lipoic acid, high-dose glutathione, vitamin C, L-carnitine, vitamin B12, biotin, folic acid, a B complex and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), mixed into a saline bag. You can choose a 200ml or 1000ml bag at no extra cost, and your nurse can add extra vitamins on request.
The Anti-Clockwise costs R1,850 and takes about 45 minutes. The Reverse Aging Programme costs R9,320 for 5 x NAD+ 250mg drips, each given over about 90 minutes, plus 2 x Anti-Clockwise drips. Mobile visits carry a call-out fee of R400 minimum, or R150 per person for groups, within the first 15km.
Each drip follows a medical screening questionnaire and is given by a registered nurse under the protocols of Dr Chris van Zyl. Tell us before booking if you have a heart, kidney or liver condition, are pregnant or take chronic medication. NAD+ is always given slowly, because a fast infusion can feel uncomfortable.
