Our Nurses Come To You

IV Drips
in Cape Town

mobivIVe provides mobile IV drips in Cape Town: we do not have a walk-in lounge in the city, so a registered nurse comes to your home, office, hotel or event. If you are looking for an IV bar in Cape Town, think of us as the IV bar that comes to you. Drips cost from R750 to R3,050, plus a call-out fee. We cover the Atlantic Seaboard, the northern suburbs, the Blouberg coast and the Helderberg. Every drip comes with a 200ml or 1000ml saline bag at no extra cost, and we have given more than 15,000 IV treatments since 2021.

Popular drips here. In Cape Town we visit hotel rooms and holiday rentals, bridal parties getting ready, offices and homes. The Royal IV (R2,650) is a popular all-in-one choice before a wedding or milestone event, The Light Switch (R1,350) is often booked by a group before a big night, and The Kick-Start (R1,350) suits visitors after a long-haul flight. The Light Switch is built around glutathione and vitamin C, and the NHS explains that vitamin C helps protect cells and maintain healthy skin.

How to book, in 3 simple steps

  1. Book online. Choose your drip, a walk-in lounge (Sunninghill, Stellenbosch or Queenstown) or a mobile drip at your home, office or hotel, and a time at book.mobivive.co.za.
  2. Medical screening. You complete a short medical questionnaire before your drip, so anything that needs extra care is picked up first.
  3. Relax while a registered nurse gives your drip. Most drips take about 45 minutes; NAD+ is given slowly over 90 to 120 minutes.

How booking works. Book online at book.mobivive.co.za and choose “Your Home, Office, etc.”, then enter the address where the nurse should meet you. You complete a medical screening questionnaire first, and a registered nurse administers your drip under the protocols of our medical director, Dr Chris van Zyl. If you have a heart, kidney or liver condition, are pregnant or take chronic medication, tell us before your drip. Every mobile visit carries a call-out fee of R400 minimum, or R150 per person for groups, covering the first 15km. Same-day appointments are possible, subject to availability and your area’s hours. Questions: WhatsApp or call 061 509 6038.

Not as a rule. The NHS advises 6 to 8 glasses of fluid a day for most people, and Cleveland Clinic notes there is limited scientific evidence of a direct general wellness benefit from IV vitamin therapy. We offer drips as a convenient hydration and vitamin top-up, not a substitute for water and food.
