Speciality IV drips are mobivIVe’s ingredient-led drips, The Sinus Reliever, The Heartbeat and The Open Airways, chosen as vitamin and nutrient top-ups; they are not treatments for any sinus, heart, lung or allergy condition. The Sinus Reliever costs R1,950 (about 60 minutes), The Heartbeat R1,850 (about 60 minutes) and The Open Airways R1,950 (about 90 minutes). The names are product names, not medical claims. Visit our lounges in Sunninghill (Johannesburg), Stellenbosch or Queenstown, or book a mobile drip in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
Who chooses them. The Sinus Reliever is popular in winter and before travel, The Heartbeat with active people who like a regular vitamin routine (the Heartbeat Programme is 8 drips for R13,530), and The Open Airways with people who want an amino acid top-up. Evidence for these IV nutrients in healthy people is limited. Anyone with a heart, lung, sinus or allergy condition, including asthma, must keep their own doctor’s treatment plan and never stop prescribed medicine or inhalers. If you have chest pain, struggle to breathe or feel your heart racing, go to a hospital emergency unit.
How to book, in 3 simple steps
Book online. Choose your drip, a walk-in lounge (Sunninghill, Stellenbosch or Queenstown) or a mobile drip at your home, office or hotel, and a time at book.mobivive.co.za.
Medical screening. You complete a short medical questionnaire before your drip, so anything that needs extra care is picked up first.
Relax while a registered nurse gives your drip. Most drips take about 45 minutes; NAD+ is given slowly over 90 to 120 minutes.
Is a speciality drip right for me? You complete a medical screening questionnaire, which a registered nurse reviews under the protocols of our medical director, Dr Chris van Zyl. Tell us first if you have a heart, lung, kidney or liver condition, asthma, sinusitis or allergies, are pregnant, or take chronic medication, and keep following your own doctor’s treatment plan. These drips are not treatments for any of those conditions. The nurse places a small cannula in your arm and the drip runs for about 60 to 90 minutes, depending on which one you choose.
Bag: 200ml or 1000ml saline, your choice at no extra cost
