Slow, Nurse-Led NAD+ Infusions

NAD+ IV Drip
in South Africa

An NAD+ IV drip is a slow infusion of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), a coenzyme every cell in your body uses to make energy. For an NAD IV drip in South Africa, mobivIVe offers two strengths: MobiNAD+ 250mg at R1,300 (about 90 minutes) and MobiNAD+ 500mg at R1,950 (about 120 minutes). Visit our walk-in lounges in Sunninghill (Johannesburg), Stellenbosch or Queenstown, or book a mobile NAD drip and a registered nurse comes to your home, office or hotel in Cape Town or Johannesburg. NAD+ is always given slowly in a 200ml saline bag, because it is best tolerated at a gentle rate.

What is in it. The drip contains NAD+ in saline, nothing more. A 2021 review in Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology describes NAD+ as a coenzyme for the redox reactions at the centre of energy metabolism and an essential cofactor for enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs, which take part in DNA repair and cell signalling. The same review notes that NAD+ levels gradually fall with age in tissues of rodents and humans. Your body normally builds NAD+ from niacin (vitamin B3), and the niacin coenzymes are needed by more than 400 enzymes.

Who chooses it. NAD+ drips are chosen by busy professionals, endurance athletes and people in their forties and beyond who want a wellness routine built around cellular energy. Some book a single drip, others follow a programme: the Elite NAD+ Programme at R10,600 pairs NAD+ 250mg with The Royal IV, and the Reverse Aging Programme at R9,320 combines 5 x NAD+ 250mg with 2 x The Anti-Clockwise. Human research on NAD+ infusions is still early, so we make no promises about outcomes. Prefer something for home? See our NAD+ pens, or read our guide What is NAD+?.

How to book, in 3 simple steps

  1. Book online. Choose your drip, a walk-in lounge (Sunninghill, Stellenbosch or Queenstown) or a mobile drip at your home, office or hotel, and a time at book.mobivive.co.za.
  2. Medical screening. You complete a short medical questionnaire before your drip, so anything that needs extra care is picked up first.
  3. Relax while a registered nurse gives your drip. Most drips take about 45 minutes; NAD+ is given slowly over 90 to 120 minutes.

Is an NAD+ drip right for me? You complete a medical screening questionnaire first, and a registered nurse reviews it under the protocols of our medical director, Dr Chris van Zyl. Tell us before you book if you have a heart, kidney or liver condition, are pregnant, or take chronic medication. The nurse places a cannula in your arm and runs the 200ml bag slowly. Some people feel warmth or pressure in the chest if NAD+ runs too fast, so the nurse adjusts the rate to how you feel. Plan for about 90 minutes for 250mg and about two hours for 500mg.

Frequently asked questions

An NAD drip is an intravenous infusion of NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), a coenzyme your cells use in energy metabolism. At mobivIVe a registered nurse gives it slowly through a small cannula in your arm. It is chosen as part of a wellness routine, and we make no claims that it treats any condition.

Our NAD+ drip contains only NAD+ diluted in a 200ml saline bag. You choose MobiNAD+ 250mg or MobiNAD+ 500mg. We keep the bag small and the rate slow because NAD+ is best tolerated that way. If you want vitamins as well, ask about our programmes that pair NAD+ with other drips.

MobiNAD+ 250mg costs R1,300 and takes about 90 minutes. MobiNAD+ 500mg costs R1,950 and takes about 120 minutes. The Elite NAD+ Programme is R10,600 and the Reverse Aging Programme is R9,320. Mobile drips carry a call-out fee of R400 minimum, or R150 per person for groups.

NAD IV therapy at mobivIVe is given by a registered nurse after a medical screening questionnaire, under the protocols of Dr Chris van Zyl. If you are pregnant, take chronic medication, or have a heart, kidney or liver condition, tell us first. Chest pressure or flushing can happen if it runs too fast, so the nurse keeps it slow.

Book at book.mobivive.co.za/book. Choose our Sunninghill, Stellenbosch or Queenstown lounge, or pick “Your Home, Office, etc.” for an NAD drip near you in Cape Town or Johannesburg, where a nurse comes to your door. For questions, WhatsApp or call 061 509 6038.
