A mental clarity IV drip, often called a brain drip or focus IV drip, is a vitamin and nutrient infusion that people choose as a top-up during demanding weeks. Our mental clarity IV drip is The Brain Booster, which costs R2,150 and takes about 45 minutes. Walk into our lounges in Sunninghill (Johannesburg), Stellenbosch or Queenstown, or book a mobile drip and a registered nurse comes to your home, office or hotel anywhere we cover in Cape Town and Johannesburg. You choose a 200ml or 1000ml saline bag at no extra cost, and extra vitamins can be added on the day.
Who chooses it. The Brain Booster is popular with professionals heading into a busy quarter, a big pitch or long-haul travel, and with people who like a nutrient top-up alongside good sleep, food and exercise. To be honest about the evidence: research on IV nutrients for focus or memory in healthy people is limited, and we make no promises about how you will feel. The drip is not a treatment for depression, ADHD, anxiety or memory problems. If you have any of these, keep seeing your own doctor and tell us first. A related doctor-led option is Semax and Selank.
How to book, in 3 simple steps
Book online. Choose your drip, a walk-in lounge (Sunninghill, Stellenbosch or Queenstown) or a mobile drip at your home, office or hotel, and a time at book.mobivive.co.za.
Medical screening. You complete a short medical questionnaire before your drip, so anything that needs extra care is picked up first.
Relax while a registered nurse gives your drip. Most drips take about 45 minutes; NAD+ is given slowly over 90 to 120 minutes.
Is the Brain Booster right for me? Every drip starts with a medical screening questionnaire, which a registered nurse reviews under the protocols of our medical director, Dr Chris van Zyl. Tell us first if you have a heart, kidney or liver condition, are pregnant, or take chronic medication, including antidepressants or ADHD medicine. Anyone with depression, ADHD or another mental health or neurological condition should keep seeing their own doctor and tell us before booking. The nurse places a small cannula in your arm and the drip runs for about 45 minutes. Allow about an hour in total.
Bag: 200ml or 1000ml saline, your choice at no extra cost
