Read more in What is an IV drip?
Our walk-in IV bar lounges are at Sunninghill Village Shopping Centre in Sunninghill, Sandton; at 5 Dorp Street in Stellenbosch Central; and at Medipark, 43 Grey Street in Komani. Everywhere else in Cape Town, from the Atlantic Seaboard to Durbanville, Table View and Somerset West, the IV bar is mobile and the nurse comes to you.

Any drip carries some risk, such as bruising or infection where the needle goes in. Cleveland Clinic advises people with heart disease, high blood pressure or kidney disease, and pregnant women, to talk to their healthcare provider first, and the MSD Manual notes that few studies have tested the Myers cocktail in people without a deficiency. At mobivIVe every drip is given by a registered nurse after a medical screening questionnaire, under the protocols of Dr Chris van Zyl.
