IV Drips
for Events

mobivIVe brings IV drips to group events: bridal parties getting ready, birthday weekends, corporate wellness days, conferences and team offsites. Every guest picks their own drip and pays that drip’s price, and the call-out works out at R150 per person, with a R400 minimum, covering the first 15km. Our registered nurses set up at your venue and several guests can have their drips side by side. We bring enough nurses for your group, so tell us the size when you book. Since 2021 we have given more than 15,000 IV treatments.

How a group booking works. Small groups can book online and choose “Your Home, Office, etc.” with the venue address. For larger groups, WhatsApp 061 509 6038 with the date, venue and number of guests and we plan the nurses around it. Each guest fills in their own medical screening questionnaire, so nobody is screened on someone else’s behalf. We cover events in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Stellenbosch and the Winelands. If your company is paying, ask us about invoicing for companies.

Popular group drips. Bridal parties often choose The Light Switch (R1,350) in the days before the wedding, with The Royal IV (R2,650) for the bride. Conference delegates and staff on a wellness day tend to book The Kick-Start (R1,350) or The Beast (R1,500), and Dr John Myers (R1,050) suits first-timers. The Babelas Beater (R1,250) is popular the morning after a wedding or year-end function. If drinks are part of the celebration, the NHS suggests alternating alcoholic drinks with water or other non-alcoholic drinks, and having something to eat and a glass of water before you start.

How to book, in 3 simple steps

  1. Book online. Choose your drip, a walk-in lounge (Sunninghill, Stellenbosch or Queenstown) or a mobile drip at your home, office or hotel, and a time at book.mobivive.co.za.
  2. Medical screening. You complete a short medical questionnaire before your drip, so anything that needs extra care is picked up first.
  3. Relax while a registered nurse gives your drip. Most drips take about 45 minutes; NAD+ is given slowly over 90 to 120 minutes.

Planning a group drip. Book online at book.mobivive.co.za for a small group, or WhatsApp 061 509 6038 with your headcount for anything bigger. Each guest answers their own medical screening questionnaire before a line goes in, and our registered nurses work under the protocols of our medical director, Dr Chris van Zyl. Any guest who is pregnant, takes chronic medication, or has a heart, kidney or liver condition must tell us before the event. Group call-outs are R150 per person, R400 minimum, for venues within the first 15km. Make sure there is a chair for each guest and good light in the room. Same-day group bookings depend on nurse availability, so book early for weddings and functions. See every drip on our IV drip prices page.

Yes. Our nurses come to wherever the bridal party is getting ready, and several guests can have their drips at the same time. Most drips take about 45 minutes, plus time for screening and set-up, so build that into the morning schedule and book well ahead for weekend weddings.

Yes. We can come to your office, conference venue or team offsite. WhatsApp 061 509 6038 with the date, venue and expected number of staff, and we bring enough nurses for your group. Ask us about invoicing for companies.

Yes, every guest completes their own medical screening questionnaire, and the nurse may advise someone not to go ahead. Cleveland Clinic advises people with heart disease, high blood pressure or kidney disease, and pregnant women, to check with their healthcare provider before IV vitamin therapy. Guests on chronic medication must tell us too.

No. The NHS lists thirst, dark yellow pee, a dry mouth and headaches among the signs of dehydration, and drinking too much alcohol or spending too long in the sun among its causes. Keep water on hand throughout your event. A drip is a hydration and vitamin top-up given by a nurse, not a substitute for drinking enough.
